Kitsune Modern specialises in midcentury modern furniture design with exceptional character, detailing and historical interest.

Based in Cambridge, my stock is varied and eclectic, ranging from Danish teak and rosewood furniture, American mid-century modernism, post-war British design and Japanese ingenuity. Some of my favourite designers include Hans Wegner, George Nakashima, Finn Juhl, Tapio Wirkkala, Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, Grete Jalk and the Eames.

My modus operandi is pretty simple. I only select items we would happily live with. Unfortunately, this means I often end up keeping things for myself!

Condition

My stock is chosen for their aesthetic appeal and quality. These are antique or vintage items and, as such, have signs of age. These signs are commensurate with use and adds to character and authenticity. Detailed photographs and condition reports are available on request.
